Inshore Half Day: ($480/includes mate's tip) Up to 4 hours, Up to 4 Anglers ($120/pp)

Inshore Chesapeake Bay fishing is perfect for catching multiple species in a short time while not venturing away from the sight of land. Half Day Inshore trips are available out of Crab Creek (Lynnhaven Inlet) and include The Chesapeake Bay out to 5 miles, Lynnhaven Inlet, the First and Second Islands of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel and it's structures as well as various inshore wrecks. Your trip will be customized to your wants and needs, with assistance from Captain JJ on what's biting this time of year and where. Typical targeted species include Striped Bass "Schoolie" (Rockfish), Tautog, Flounder, Red (Puppy) Drum, Speckled Trout, Bluefish, Croaker, and different species of small Sharks. These trips may also include picturesque views of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel, Chicks Beach Coastline, Cape Henry Lighthouse, and pods of dolphins!
Near Shore Full Day: ($800/includes mate's tip) Up to 8 hours, Up to 4 Anglers ($200/pp)
Deposit: ($400) 6am-2pm; OR 9am-5pm
Near Shore Chesapeake Bay and Atlantic Ocean Fishing affords the opportunity again to catch multiple species, slightly further away from land, with the potential of even larger fish to take home. Full Day Near Shore bay and ocean fishing out of Crab Creek (Lynnhaven Inlet) or Owls Creek (Rudee Inlet) include areas up to 15 miles off shore, The 3rd and 4th Islands of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel and it's structures, the High Rise Bridge of the CBBT, Nautilus Shoals, The Santore Wreck, The Chesapeake Light Tower and various other near shore wrecks. Your trip will be customized to your wants and needs with assistance from Captain JJ on what's biting this time of year and where. Typical targeted species include citation spring season Striped Bass (Rockfish), Tautog, Flounder, Red (Bull) Drum, Black Drum, Black Sea Bass, Cobia, Amberjack, False Albacore, Crevalle Jack, Kingfish (Roundhead), Mackerel, Sheepshead, Spadefish, Triggerfish and different species of Sharks. These trips may also include picturesque views of the Va Beach Coastline, Cape Henry Lighthouse, large Sea Turtles, pods of dolphins and the occasional Humpback Whale!
Striper (Fall Rockfish): ($700/includes mate's tip) Up to 6 hours, Up to 4 Anglers ($175 pp)
Deposit: ($350) 6am-12noon OR 1pm-7pm
Chesapeake Bay Striper (fall season) affords the opportunity to catch citation Striped Bass (Rockfish) within a few miles of the dock at Cape Charles Harbor (Eastern Shore, VA) or Kiptopeke State Park. Your Half Day (6hr) bay Striper fishing trip will be customized to your wants and needs with assistance from Captain JJ on where the big Cows are biting this time of year. If we get our limit, we will finish our time Tog fishing the Concrete Ships for more meat to take home. These trips may also include picturesque views of the Eastern Shore, VA Coastline, Cape Charles Lighthouse, pods of dolphins and the occasional Humpback Whale headed up the Baltimore Channel!
Customized Off Shore Full Day: ($1200/includes mate's tip) From 12-16 hours, Up to 4 Anglers ($300/pp)

*** Off Shore-Customized with Captain JJ just for your group *** Off Shore Atlantic Ocean Fishing is intended for the angler who wants to venture well away from land and target larger fish for that catch of a lifetime! Full Day Off Shore trips out of Rudee Inlet includes areas up to 100 miles off the coast of VA and NC with popular areas around the Triangle Wrecks, The Norfolk Canyon, The Fingers, The Cigar, Triple Zeros and the Hot Dog. Off Shore trolling and wreck fishing offers the chance to land Mahi Mahi (Dolphin), Wahoo, Yellow/Blue Fin Tuna, Big Eye Tuna, White Marlin, Amberjack, Tautog, Sea Bass, Flounder and of course larger species of Shark! Your trip will be customized to your wants and needs with assistance from Captain JJ on what's biting this time of year and where. Since we are a smaller vessel, our offshore trips are planned around our good weather days! Reel Drag is running trips along the Elizabeth River for the InShore Slam! Striper (Rockfish), Speckled Trout and Red Drum run heavy, especially in the colder weather. If you get seasick easy and can't endure the nearshore or offshore scene away from land, hit us up for an easy river ride to great fishing inshore and great scenery for photo opportunities up and down the intracoastal waterway!

Sometimes it's just too beautiful not to be fishing! There will be times when Captain JJ will be heading out without a booked trip, and you will be invited to go along! Walk-On trips are generally cheaper than a full charter with all of the benefits! We do not need a full boat to take you as a Walk-On, price will be per person (PP).

These dusk or dawn cruises are often great opportunities to film and photograph pods of dolphins playing on the surface, almost showing off for our guests!
