About the Captain
Captain J.J. is a US Coast Guard certified Master Captain and has been fishing our area of the Chesapeake Bay and the Atlantic Ocean since 2000. He is a graduate of James Madison University with a BS in 1998, and always knew he wanted to live and work at the beach. All of those dreams are being realized with Reel Drag Fishing, LLC!

Reel Drag is a Luhrs 400, Tournament Style Open Sportfisher. Her 40' length and 14'11" beam make her very stable in choppy seas, with plenty of power from the twin Cummins QSB 5.9 diesel motors. With cockpit seating out of the weather, a private marine head, interior salon, Rupp Marine Outriggers, rod holders, cockpit leaning post, Garmin Radar and Auto Pilot, beverage coolers, fish boxes and stern fishing deck, we are well prepared for your all day trip!
